Arsenal agree terms with highly-rated French winger
Arsenal have reportedly agreed personal terms with Lorient's Alexis Claude-Maurice, and they are now aiming to finalise a transfer fee for his services.
The Gunners are expected to strengthen the wider attacking department this summer after permitting Danny Welbeck leave on a free transfer when his deal expires at the end of the month.
According to Get French Football News, the north London side are understood to have agreed provisional personal terms with the Frenchman but they are yet to meet the transfer demands of Lorient.
The Capital outfit are said to have failed with bids of £10m and £14.2m for the left-sided winger and reports indicate that they are prepared to come up with a third offer which could come close to Lorient's £17.8m price tag.
Claude-Maurice has generally featured on the left side of the attack for Lorient and he had his best season for the club last term, where he contributed 14 goals and a further four assists.
