Crystal Palace quote hefty asking price for top Arsenal target
Crystal Palace have reportedly told Arsenal that they would have to come up with a Premier League-record fee of £100m to prise away Wilfried Zaha from the club.
The north London giants have been heavily linked with the Ivorian in the past few weeks and reports have emerged that the attacker likewise favours a move to the Emirates Stadium.
As such, Unai Emery's side were said to be confident of agreeing a £55m deal for the winger but The Mail claims that the Eagles won't settle for anything less than £100m for the 26-year-old.
Zaha enjoyed an impressive 2018/19 campaign with the Eagles and he ended the season with a tally of 10 goals and five assists in the Premier League alone.
The Gunners are said to have a limited £45m budget for the summer and their prospect of landing Zaha seem bleak unless the Eagles are willing to re-negotiate the transfer price.
Still, the club may have to sanction the sale of a few players from the existing squad and recently, Aubameyang has been linked with a shock exit from the Emirates Stadium.
