Ligue 1 winger keen on joining Liverpool this summer
Lille forward Nicolas Pepe has reportedly expressed his desire to join Liverpool during this summer's transfer window.
The 24-year-old has a top campaign with Lille last term where he amassed 22 goals and a further 11 assists in the French top-flight.
Owing to this showing, he has been touted to pursue a big-club move this summer but so far, none of the clubs have matched Lille's £68m asking price.
According to L'Equipe, the Ivorian has particular preference to join the Reds this summer, but the Merseyside club have yet to make an approach for his services.
The same publication claims that Paris Saint-Germain are the next club in the preference list for the winger and his representatives are on the look out for an offer from the French champions.
Liverpool have yet to make a major signing during the ongoing transfer window and reports have claimed that manager Jurgen Klopp is content with the options at hand.
Sepp van den Berg from PEC Zwolle has been the Reds' sole signing for the transfer window. The teenager is likely to feature for the Under-18s during the forthcoming campaign.
