Inter Milan propose swap deal with Manchester United involving Radja Nainggolan

Inter want Matic in exchange for Nainggolan

Inter Milan have reportedly proposed to secure the signature of Nemanja Matic from Manchester United in a player-plus-cash deal this summer.

According to ESPN, the Nerazzurri are keen on reinforcing their midfield department this summer and they have earmarked Matic as a potential choice for the same.

It is added that the club are willing to discuss a part-exchange deal worth £10m for the Serbian whereby Radja Nainggolan will be acting as the makeweight.

Matic has made 87 appearances in the past two seasons with the club, but he has drawn criticism from the United fans in the past 12 months owing to the restricted mobility on the playing field.

Still, Nerazzurri boss Antonio Conte is said to favour the midfielder's services, given the Serbian was an influential figure in the centre of the park when he guided former club Chelsea to the league title two years ago.

Elsewhere, Nainggolan has been regularly linked with a Premier League move in the past few years and United could be tempted to land his signature, given he could provide the much-needed creativity from midfield.

Nainggolan contributed six goals and three assists in the Serie A last term.
