Solskjaer wants Vinicius in Pogba swap with Real Madrid

Manchester United are reportedly prepared to discuss a part-exchange deal with Real Madrid for Paul Pogba, provided they offer Vinicius Junior as the makeweight.

Pogba has travelled with the Red Devils for their pre-season tour of Australia and the Far East, but his agent has regularly suggested that he would prefer a fresh challenge.

According to Diario Gol, Los Blancos are the front-runners to land the former Juventus man but they are reluctant to meet United's £150m asking price for the midfielder.

The same publication claims that they are prepared to discuss a part-exchange deal instead involving either Isco or Gareth Bale, though Solskjaer is said to prefer someone else.

The Red Devils boss has clearly indicated that the club are after young recruits for the transfer window and reports suggest that he may demand Junior as part of a player-plus-cash deal for Pogba.

The 18-year-old made the switch to Los Blancos from Flamengo last summer and he has since contributed four goals and eight assists from 30 appearances across all competitions.
