Arsenal veteran defender Laurent Koscielny could be leaving the Emirates this summer, as the centre-back considers an offer from France. According to The Mirror, Bordeaux are in the race to sign the Arsenal captain, who has just one year remaining on his deal at the club.

Despite spending 9 years at Arsenal, it appears that Unai Emery is not sure if the 33-year-old is the right man to lead the club next season and could play more of a subsitute role once Rob Holding returns from injury.

Bordeaux have been linked with a 5 million euro transfer package to sign Koscielny, and Arsenal are open to offers.

According to reports from France, Koscielny wants to finish his career back in his home country and would be open to a transfer to Bordeaux.

Koscielny has played in 353 games in all competitions for the Gunners, and is hugely popular with the Arsenal fans. The defender has also suffered with injury regularly at the club, so to many has been unable to realise his full potential.
