Arsenal leading the race to land Real Madrid midfielder

Arsenal have reportedly emerged as the favourites to secure the signature of midfielder Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid this summer.
The Spaniard has been made available in the loan market for the summer and recent reports have indicated that Tottenham Hotspur could swoop for his services.
However, a report from Marca has now claimed that the Gunners are most likely to land the 22-year-old ahead of their north London rivals, given they are prepared to assure him with regular gametime.
The Gunners are looking to replace Aaron Ramsey, who made the switch to Juventus on a Bosman this summer and Ceballos appears as the ideal choice with a small loan fee involved in addition to the wages.
Aside from Ceballos, the Capital outfit are also looking into moves for Lucas Vazquez and Mariano Diaz from the Bernabeu giants and they could land the duo for a combined £50m fee.
Arsenal have been relatively quiet through the first half of the transfer window and they have made just one purchase in the form of Gabriel Martinelli from Ituano.
