Nabil Fekir set for shock Real Betis move

Spanish club Real Betis are on the verge of announcing a huge transfer deal to sign French international forward Nabil Fekir. The player, who has been constantly linked with a move to Liverpool in recent seasons, will transfer to the La Liga side in a deal worth up to 45 million euros.

The move for Fekir to Betis comes as a huge surprise and Spanish media have announced that a five year contract between club and player has been agreed, worth a huge 15 million euros per year for the French star.

The 26-year-old will move to Real Betis with rumours rife that Giovani Lo Celso will depart Betis for pastures new. Lo Celso arrived at Betis in April 2019 on a permanent deal after a successful loan period from PSG, however Lo Celso will now be heading elsewhere with several other teams interested in his services, including the likes of Tottenham and Bayern Munich.

The departure of Lo Celso from Betis paves the way for Fekir to leave Lyon in favour of Spain, in a transfer coup for the La Liga side.
