Newcastle agree deal for Joelinton
Newcastle United have wrapped up a deal to sign Hoffenheim striker Joelinton today for a fee of 35 million euros. The German club have decided to cash in on the Brazilian striker and Premier League side Newcastle have agreed a fee and will now discuss personal terms with the striker.
As part of a new look attack for next season, Newcastle United are likely to sign both Joelinton and former Man Utd and Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck.
Having lost their former manager Rafa Benitez and replaced him with Steve Bruce, the Toon Army are revamping their squad starting with their new look forward line.
Former striker Salomon Rondon has left the club for the Chinese Super League, leaving Newcastle short of strikers.
Joelinton has played for Sport Recife and Rapid Vienna prior to moving to Hoffenheim. Since joining the German club in 2015, he has played 27 games and scored 7 goals.
It is understood the striker has decided to move to the Premier League in the hope of boosting his international prospects for Brazil.
