Chelsea teenager wants number 10 shirt?
Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi has reportedly requested the number 10 jersey as part of the requirements to pen a new contract with the club.
The England international has been in a contract standoff with the Blues over the past 12 months, but reports have recently emerged that he is on the cusp of penning a new long-term deal.
Amidst this, the representatives of Hudson-Odoi have urged the Blues to hand him with the vacant number 10 shirt and Metro suggests that the club may oblige to the request to keep the winger happy.
Brazil international Willian recently indicated that he has been offered the jersey formerly worn by Eden Hazard, but manager Frank Lampard has refuted those claims by stating that no conclusion has been made over the same.
Meanwhile, Hudson-Odoi is currently recovering after an operation for a ruptured Achilles tendon and he is unlikely to return to first-team action until after the first international break of the campaign.
