Barcelona concerned with Philippe Coutinho's situation
Barcelona are reportedly concerned about the fact that they have not received any offers for the signature of midfielder Philippe Coutinho this summer.
The Brazilian has been heavily linked with a return to the Premier League with either Liverpool or Manchester United, but neither of those clubs have made a formal enquiry to secure his services.
According to ESPN, Blaugrana boss Ernesto Valverde is willing to dispense with Coutinho this summer with the club aiming to re-sign Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain.
A number of elite European clubs including Liverpool and United have been fancied to pursue the playmaker, but so far, there have been no official bids to secure his signature.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has publicly acknowledged that the club are unlikely to make a move to re-sign the Brazil international. Meanwhile, United seem to have placed their focus on strengthening the central midfield and they are currently looking into a deal for Sporting's Bruno Fernandes.
Coutinho was pursued from Liverpool last year for an initial fee of £105m and it is suggested that the Blaugrana want a similar sum to sanction his sale during the ongoing transfer window.
The 27-year-old, who was recently part of Brazil's Copa America-winning squad, struggled in the Spanish La Liga last season as he managed to contribute just five goals.
