Arsenal end interest in Daniele Rugani
Arsenal have reportedly ended their interest in signing Daniele Rugani from Juventus after failing to reach an agreement over the transfer terms.
A recent report from Alfredo Pedulla revealed that the Gunners had agreed personal terms with the Italian and the club could propose a two-year loan with the option to buy.
However, according to The Mirror, a deal now appears unlikely and the north London giants are likely to look at other central defensive targets before tomorrow's transfer deadline.
The Bianconeri are understood to have been reluctant to accept more than a 12-month loan for the defender while they are said to have demanded an obligatory buy clause which the Gunners have refused to accept.
Aside from Rugani, the Gunners have been looking into a deal for RB Leipzig's Dayot Upamecano and they have already failed with an opening £55m bid for the 20-year-old.
A recent report from L'Equipe has indicated that the Bundesliga club want around £75m and Emile Smith-Rowe on loan in order to sanction the Frenchman's sale.
