United to swoop for Eriksen?

Manchester United have reportedly entered discussions with Tottenham Hotspur over a £50m deal for midfielder Christian Eriksen ahead of tomorrow's transfer deadline.

The Denmark international has less than one year remaining on his deal with the north London giants and this has led to suggestions that Spurs may sanction his sale this summer.

According to The Independent, Mauricio Pochettino's side are aiming to land the signature of Bruno Fernandes from Sporting and a large part of the transfer fee could be recouped from the sale of Eriksen.

Spurs were previously said to value Eriksen at around £130m but they have now reduced his price tag to £50m as they are keen to offload him before the transfer window closes.

Furthermore, it is added that the Red Devils have retained their interest in the Dane and they are confident of striking a deal before the Premier League transfer window closes on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Spurs are said to have agreed a fee for Juventus playmaker Paulo Dybala but the Argentine has yet to give the green light to seal the move to the English capital.
