Paul Pogba still determined to join Real Madrid
French midfielder Paul Pogba has reportedly not given up on the prospect of joining Real Madrid before the Spanish transfer window closes on September 2.
Earlier this summer, the 26-year-old openly admitted that he would prefer a fresh challenge away from Old Trafford and reports have since associated him with a move to the Bernabeu.
This speculation has continued to remain intact following the Premier League transfer deadline after the midfielder's recent comments where he admitted that there are still question marks over his future.
According to Marca, the World Cup winner continues to hold the ambition of joining the 13-time European champions and he has not given up on a late move this summer.
United have quoted a £170m fee for Pogba amid the interest from Los Blancos. So far, Zinedine Zidane's side have been reluctant to pay more than £120m for the former Juventus man.
Pogba recently starred for the Red Devils during the 4-0 league win over Chelsea in the season opener. He had a poor first half but made up for the same with a couple of assists in a dominating second half performance.
