Chelsea attacker set for new five-year contract?

Hudson-Odoi set for new Blues contract

Chelsea are prepared to reward Callum Hudson-Odoi with a new five-year contract before reintroducing him to first-team action next month.

The youngster has been sidelined for the past four months with an Achilles injury but he has recently returned to first-team training with his teammates.

According to The Telegraph, the west London giants are in advanced negotiations over a new deal with the winger and they are optimistic of committing him to a five-year contract before he makes his comeback.

Hudson-Odoi is currently on a £25,000-a-week package at the Blues and he stands the chance of boosting his salary by at least seven times, should he extend his contract with the club.

The England international is presently contracted to the Capital outfit until the summer of 2020 and has been linked with a big-money move to Bayern Munich in the past.

The German champions seem to have ended their interest following a series of failed bids in January and are unlikely to come up with a renewed approach in the near future.
