Mesut Ozil's agent updates on the midfielder's Arsenal future

The representative of Mesut Ozil has dismissed suggestions that the German could part ways with Arsenal following the recent Premier League snub at Liverpool.

The former Germany international returned to complete training alongside his teammates last week but he was left out of the matchday squad for the league clash at Anfield.

As such, The Sun had suggested that Ozil's future with the Gunners may be in doubt but Turkish-Football has dismissed the claims by stating that the player's agent Dr Erkut Sogut has himself assured the midfielder's stay with the north London giants.

Ozil has been ignored for the away duties on numerous occasions under Unai Emery and during the recent Merseyside trip, the manager hinted that the German may not be physically prepared for the encounter.

Arsenal, who are presently third in the Premier League standings, have a north London derby against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend. Mesut Ozil could return to the fray for the Emirates clash.
