Liverpool looking into move for Ajax winger?
Liverpool have reportedly identified Ajax winger David Neres as a potential target to bolster their squad in either January or at the end of the season.
The 22-year-old built his reputation with Ajax during the previous season and he contributed two goals and two assists en route to the club's run to the Champions League semi-final.
He has continued the good form this season with already an assist in the same competition against Lille and Calciomercato reports that he has now caught the eye of Reds scouts.
Jurgen Klopp's side made no marquee signings during the 2019 summer transfer window with the manager content with the options at his disposal for the campaign.
However, there could be some activity in either January or next summer and Neres has been earmarked as an option, who can strengthen the Reds attack with his ability.
Meanwhile, there are suggestions that the Brazilian could act as a direct replacement for Mohamed Salah, who has been touted for a big-money move to Real Madrid next summer.
