Juan Mata says Manchester United star is the 'complete midfielder'

Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata has heaped praise on teammate Paul Pogba ahead of the Premier League showdown against Arsenal on Monday night.

The Red Devils have experienced a difficult beginning to the league campaign and they are currently languishing in the 11th spot with eight points, though they have a game in hand against the Gunners.

Ahead of the forthcoming clash, Mata has appreciated the qualities of midfielder Paul Pogba by stating the Frenchman is the complete midfielder, he told The Times:

"Paul [Pogba] is a very important player for us. He has fantastic qualities: physically, his vision’s very good, his passing’s very good. He’s a complete midfielder."

Pogba recently made his comeback from an ankle injury to face Rochdale in the League Cup third round, where United progressed by virtue of the penalty shoot-out.

He has, however, suffered a fresh swelling on the same ankle ahead of the Gunners game and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that the 26-year-old is a major doubt for the encounter against Arsenal.
