Arsenal midfielder to join Barcelona on loan?
Barcelona have reportedly been linked with a surprise loan move for Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil when the transfer window reopens in January.
Ozil has fallen out-of-favour under manager Unai Emery this term and he has managed just one appearance in the Premier League clash against Watford this month.
According to Don Balon, the Blaugrana are looking into a temporary deal for Ozil at the turn of the year with manager Ernesto Valverde seemingly open to the departure of Ousmane Dembele.
The Blaugrana are said to have grown exasperated at the Frenchman's attitude over the past few months and it is indicated that they would be prepared to listen to offers for his services this winter.
On the other hand, Ozil has no assurances of regular gametime under Gunners boss Emery and reports have previously indicated that the club are willing to accept a loan exit in January in order to reduce the wage bill.
