Manchester United want Premier League star to replace Luke Shaw?
Manchester United are reportedly weighing up an approach to sign Ben Chilwell from Leicester City as they aim to bolster the left side of the defence.
The 22-year-old, who has also been linked with Manchester City and Chelsea, has made close to 100 appearances for the Foxes since his debut during the 2015/16 season.
According to The Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils are said to hold a keen interest in signing the England international with Luke Shaw yet to establish himself as the first-choice left-back.
Shaw managed to stay injury free for most of the previous season where he was named the club's Player of the Year but that has not been the case this term.
The former Southampton graduate has already missed nine games this season with a hamstring problem and reports indicate that his time with the club could be coming to an end.
Aside from Chilwell, the Red Devils are also said to hold an interest in compatriot James Maddison and a double swoop could be on the cards next year.
