Juventus are interested in developing Tahith Chong in the Serie A.

The Daily Mail and ESPN claim that Juventus are busy monitoring the contract of the young Manchester United midfielder. The Old Lady want to pick him up at a low price at the end of the season.

The situation is similar to the transfer scenario in 2012 when a young Paul Pogba left Old Trafford for Juventus on a free transfer. Polished into a top-notch box-to-box player in Turin, Pogba then returned to Old Trafford 4 years later in a £89 million deal.

Chong himself just scored for the Red Devils U23s to defeat the Stoke City development side last Friday. Juventus sent a team of scouts to watch the match. Juventus’ scouts are known to have a good reputation for making impressive transfers at cheap prices.

However, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still keen on keeping Chong. As promised, he wants to provide more opportunities for young players in his squad.
