Sadio Mane reacts after Liverpool's dramatic win over Aston Villa

Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has expressed his delight after the Reds came from behind to secure a 2-1 Premier League win over Aston Villa on Saturday.

The Reds found themselves behind in the 21st minute after a goal from Trezequet and the scoreline remained the same until the first half break.

In the second interval, Roberto Firmino had a goal ruled out before the hour mark for offside but they still managed to come up with the victory after a late flurry of attempts.

Andrew Robertson levelled the proceedings through a Sadio Mane assist in the 87th minute and right in the dying seconds of the game, the latter came up with the winning strike through a header.

Following the game, Mane expressed his happiness and stated the importance of picking up the win to maintain their six-point advantage over Manchester City at the top of the table.

“I’m struggling to describe how happy we are,” he told Liverpoolfc.com. “But for sure we are very happy and we deserved to win these three points, which was really important for us.”
