Ibrahimovic to Man United?

Manchester United are reportedly looking at the prospect of re-signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic on a short-term deal when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.

Ibrahimovic, 38, had a fruitful spell with the Red Devils between June 2016 and March 2018, where he contributed 29 goals from 53 appearances across all competitions.

According to Tuttomercato, Ibrahimovic is eyeing a comeback to European football and he is aware that there is plenty of interest among the elite sides in the top-five leagues.

It is added that United are one of them who are keeping a track on his proceedings and they could propose an offer to re-sign him when his contract with LA Galaxy expires at the end of the year.

United are apparently after an experienced marksman, who can act as the targetman upfront and Juventus' Mario Mandzukic has been the other striker who has been linked with the club.

Ibrahimovic has netted a sublime tally of 53 goals from 58 appearances for Galaxy and 31 of those came during the recent campaign. Galaxy were ousted from the MLS Cup by arch-rivals Los Angeles FC.
