Liverpool goalkeeper 'annoyed' at lack of clean sheets
Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker is annoyed at not having a clean sheet in the last 4 matches since he returned to the field.
Jürgen Klopp's squad have bagged only 3 clean sheets in 18 matches this season with none of those coming in the last 7 matches in all competitions this season. Aston Villa's Trézéguet was the last player to wreck the Reds' defence.
“It annoys me always when we concede,” Alisson said. “Stupid goals! When we concede that way, it annoys me and the team. We always have a common goal to win the game and keep a clean sheet.”
On Wednesday (6/11), Liverpool will host Genk at Anfield and Alisson demands better defence from his teammates. Liverpool conceded a goal against Genk in their last meeting although the Reds won 4-1.
Jurgen Klopp says he can understand the frustration Alisson feels. But Klopp claims there are more important things to focus on such as scoring more goals and playing creatively.
