Manchester United given green light to sign Bruno Fernandes?
Manchester United have reportedly received a boost in signing Bruno Fernandes in January with Sporting prepared to accept a package of £52m for his services.
The Red Devils were hotly tipped to sign the Portuguese midfielder during the summer but they were put off with Sporting said to demand a fee of around £64m.
However, it appears that the Primeira Liga outfit are willing to sanction his sale at the turn of the year and Record claims that a bid in the region of £52m could be sufficient to do business.
Unites are looking into a creative reinforcement in the centre of the park and their pursuit could be intensified in January, particularly with Paul Pogba leaning towards a move to Real Madrid.
Pogba has been sidelined for most of the current season with an ankle injury and he is only expected to return to action towards the end of December, provided he does not suffer any more setbacks.
