Arsenal will listen to offers for experienced star

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang news

Arsenal open to Aubameyang sale?

Arsenal have reportedly promised that they would listen to offers for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, should he decline to sign a new contract by the end of the season.

The Gabon international has just 20 months remaining on his existing deal with the Gunners and so far, he has been reluctant to pen an extension with the north London side struggling in their push for the top four.

According to El Desmarque, the Gunners hierarchy are said to have made contact with the representatives of Aubameyang and they have indicated that they will listen to transfer offers for the striker next summer, should his contract standoff continue.

Real Madrid are reportedly the leading candidates to sign the former AC Milan youngster and it has been previously indicated that they would require a fee of around £69m to land his signature.

Aubameyang recently bagged his 50th goal in the Gunners colours from just 78 appearances and nine of those have come during the current campaign where the club are already six points off the top four in the Premier League.
