Chelsea attacker to push for January exit?

Pedro wants January exit

Spanish attacker Pedro could be prepared to push for a winter departure from Chelsea following his struggles to command gametime under Frank Lampard.

The 32-year-old has racked nearly 200 appearances during his four and-a-half seasons with the club but he has made just three league appearances this term.

Mason Mount, Christian Pulisic, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Willian are currently ahead of Pedro in the selection order for the attacking role and The Telegraph claims that he could end his association with the club in January.

Pedro's current deal with the west London giants expires at the end of the season but the Blues could sanction his sale at the turn of the year in order to recoup a nominal fee.

The former Barcelona star has not even made the bench in three of the club's previous four league games and he has managed just 65 minutes of league action since mid-August.

Meanwhile, Willian finds himself in a similar contract situation as Pedro but the Brazilian is likely to be handed with an extension following his promising form under Lampard.
