Croatian star on his way to Manchester United in January
Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic is reportedly set to make the move to Manchester United this winter after getting the green light to part ways with Juventus.
The 33-year-old came close to joining the Red Devils as a replacement for Romelu Lukaku during the summer but a deal fell through on transfer deadline day.
Mandzukic has since failed to earn a single minute of gametime under Maurizio Sarri and he appears certain to leave the club when the transfer window reopens.
According to Tuttomercato, the experienced marksman is bound to leave Turin in January and he has already 'packed his bags' ahead of the proposed switch to Manchester.
Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial have shared the centre-forward duties this term and of late, they have recaptured their form while playing together on the field.
Still, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may want an X-factor off the bench and Mandzukic can provide the aerial presence upfront, suppose the Red Devils are trailing in the closing stages of games.
