Hazard says Chelsea are in a better shape under Lampard

Real Madrid star Eden Hazard has said that Chelsea don't miss his services after excelling under the guidance of manager Frank Lampard this term.

The Belgian made the switch to Real Madrid during the summer and they were suggestions that the west London side may struggle to make the top four this season due to the transfer ban imposed by FIFA.

Lampard's side made an indifferent beginning to the campaign as they struggled to register regular wins but things have changed over the past few months and the Blues are comfortably placed in the top four race.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Hazard said that the Blues don't need his influence on the pitch and they have fared much better this term with the number of goals scored across all competitions.

When I watch them, [there is] no Hazard but it is a party," he told Sky Sports. "They can score a lot of goals, the fans are happy, they are third in the league, it is going to be a great season. They just need to stay there and win games."

Chelsea are presently third on the Premier League table and they hold a nine-point advantage over Sheffield United, who are just below the Champions League positions.
