Chelsea attacker could miss Manchester City clash through a hip injury

Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic is reportedly a major doubt for the Premier League game against Manchester City as he has yet to recover from a hip problem.

The USA international sustained the injury during the 2-0 league win over Crystal Palace before the international break and that saw him withdraw from the national team squad for the Nations League games.

According to The Sun, the 22-year-old has not recovered from the injury setback and he is now facing a race against time as he looks to prove his fitness for the Cityzens clash.

Pulisic has been in fascinating form over the past month and he has been the standout performer for the Blues in the Premier League in the previous three matches where he has scored five goals.

In his probable absence, Callum Hudson-Odoi could feature on the left side of the attack but the England international needs to up his game, having struggled for form with club and country of late.
