Marouane Fellaini set for Premier League return?
Former Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has emerged as a potential January target for Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.
The Belgium spent five-and-a-half seasons with United before making the move to Chinese side Shandong Luneng at the beginning of 2019.
According to Dhnet, Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is keen on a reunion with the midfielder, having worked closely together at former club United.
While Fellaini remains content at Luneng for the moment, Mourinho seems keen on having a player of his style and stature at Spurs next month.
Fellaini signed a new contract with United in June 2018 and Mourinho was pivotal to convincing him to stay put with the Old Trafford side.
However, he fell out-of-favour shortly after the Portuguese was dismissed from the helm and that contributed towards the move to the Far East.
He currently has two years remaining on his existing deal with Luneng and the Chinese side are in a strong position to decline any bids next month.
