Manchester United keeping tabs on Barcelona midfielder ahead of possible move
Manchester United have reportedly emerged as one of three European clubs, who are interested in signing Arturo Vidal from Barcelona next month.
Vidal has been in decent form for the Blaugrana this term with four goals in the Spanish top-flight but he is still said to be frustrated with the limited gametime from the starting lineup.
So far, he has managed just three starts for the Spanish champions this season and Marca claims that Ernesto Valverde would welcome the prospect of selling the Chile international.
Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan have been touted to sign the midfielder since the summer but it seems that they could face stiff competition from the Red Devils.
United have not landed a single midfield signing after the exits of Marouane Fellaini and Ander Herrera and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer appears keen to address the issue with the purchase of an experienced personnel.
Vidal was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in the summer of 2015 before he made the switch to Bayern Munich from Serie A side Juventus.
