Manchester United to make move for Portuguese star?
Manchester United could reportedly swoop for the services of Bruno Fernandes in the New Year amid the uncertainty over the futures of Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba.
The Red Devils were constantly linked with the Portuguese football over the summer following a successful 2018/2019 season where he managed 33 goals and 18 assists for Sporting Lisbon.
However, no offer was made from the Red Devils and in the end, Tottenham Hotspur were the only club interested in signing him but they also failed with a late approach.
According to The Express, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could seek to reinforce the midfield next month, particularly with the likes of Matic and Pogba linked with possible exits.
It is added that could bring Fernandes back on their radar but any move could depend on the potential departure of one of the midfield players currently present at the Old Trafford outfit.
Matic has been heavily linked with a move to the Serie A with one of Inter Milan or Juventus in recent weeks. Pogba, meanwhile, has been identified as the top target for Real Madrid and they are keen to push through a mid-season deal.
