Chelsea quoted price to sign Wilfried Zaha
Chelsea will reportedly have to pay a fee of £80m in order to secure the services of Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace next month.
The Blues recently had their transfer ban halved after a successful appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport and they are now free to sign new players during the winter transfer window.
As a result, the west London side are said to be eyeing reinforcements in several positions and Wilfried Zaha has been earmarked as the prime target to bolster the wide attacking department.
According to Evening Standard, the Blues are prepared to make an approach to sign Zaha at the turn of the year with Frank Lampard keen on finding more efficiency in the final third.
However, the former Manchester United man won't come on the cheap and Palace are reluctant to reduce their £80m asking price which was the case over the summer.
Zaha, who has previously been on the radar of Arsenal and Everton, has contributed two goals and an assist from 16 league appearances for the Eagles this term.
