Manchester United keeping tabs on Real Madrid striker

Manchester United are reportedly keeping a close eye on the proceedings of Real Madrid forward Luka Jovic ahead of a possible move for his services next month.

The Serbian joined the Spanish giants for £62m from Eintracht Frankfurt last summer but he has struggled to establish himself with just one goal from four starts and nine substitute appearances.

Los Blancos are not looking at the prospect of offloading the 21-year-old in the New Year and they are still said to be open to a temporary deal to boost the markman's confidence.

According to Bleacher Report, the Red Devils are one of the Premier League sides, who hold an interest in landing the signature of the former Benfica star.

Any loan approach, however, could depend on their ongoing pursuit of Erling Braut Haaland from Red Bull Salzburg. The teenager's switch to Old Trafford could mean that United may end any interest in landing Jovic.
