Sunderland edges past West Ham
Sunderland 2-1 West Ham United Roy Keane and Sunderland find themselves safe from relegation zone after a late strike from Reid help them beat West Ham United.
Andy Reid was the hero of the match, scoring a late winner in the dying minutes pulling Sunderland away from the relegation battle.
West Ham started to attack with Dean Ashton hitting the woodwork. They scored first, Ljungberg receiving the ball from Carltron Cole and sending it into the goal with the help of a deflection.
Sunderland drew level, thanks to a great play by Kenwyne Jones. The match was all set to be declared a draw in the end, but Reid fired home the late, late goal in the 96th minute to bag all three points.
