Chelsea won't sign Leicester City star in January
Chelsea will reportedly be unable to convince Leicester City to sanction the sale of Ben Chilwell during the upcoming transfer window.
The west Londoners won their appeal against the FIFA-imposed transfer ban last month and they are now expected to spend on new signings next month.
Chilwell has been one of the players, who has been constantly linked with a move to Stamford Bridge but Football London claims that the club's prospects of signing the left-back are 'infinitesimal'.
The England international has contributed one goal and three assists for the Foxes this term but of late, he has struggled against the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool in back-to-back games.
His present deal with the east Midlands outfit only expires in the summer of 2024 and the Foxes are in a strong position to keep hold of his services for the January transfer window.
Chelsea are scheduled to face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in Sunday's Premier League clash. The Blues go into the game with just two wins from the past seven league games.
