Juventus ready to sell Adrien Rabiot to Arsenal
Serie A giants Juventus are prepared to sanction the sale of Adrien Rabiot to Arsenal this month, provided they are willing to match their £25 price tag.
The Frenchman was pursued on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain earlier in the summer but he has since struggled for gametime with just seven starts for the Italian heavyweights.
According to Sport Mediaset, the Bianconeri are prepared to consider the sale of Rabiot in the current transfer window with the Gunners said to be one of the midfielder's admirers.
However, the Serie A holders are said to demand a fee of around £25m for the France international and they are unlikely to negotiate a lesser fee with any of the player's suitors.
Arsenal have recently witnessed positive midfield performances from both Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira but the former's future remains in doubt despite the recent comments from Arteta.
Xhaka has been widely fancied to return to the Bundesliga with Hertha Berlin and reports indicate that he may head to the German outfit in either January or at the end of the campaign.
