Chelsea ready to listen to offers for Spanish defender
Chelsea are reportedly prepared to accept loan offers for Marcos Alonso, who has struggled to cement his spot on the left side of the club's defence.
Alonso has fallen down the pecking order under Frank Lampard this season and Emerson Palmieri and Cesar Azpilicueta have been preferred ahead of him for the left-back role in multiple occasions.
According to The Telegraph, the Blues are keen on parting ways with the former Fiorentina man and they are prepared to accept a temporary deal with the option for a purchase next summer.
Inter Milan, managed by former Blues boss Antonio Conte, are leading the hunt for his signature and an initial loan move would ideally suit them with their limited budget for January.
Alonso has found most of his success operating in the left wing-back role with the Blues but Lampard does not seem keen on the formation, given this has reduced the attacking threat presented by his young side.
