Man United interested in £60m-rated Serie A striker
According to Daily Mail, Manchester United have expressed their interest in signing Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik.
The Polish striker is currently in talks with the Partenopei over a contract extension, with United now looking to take advantage of the situation.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who has been hit with the striker conundrum following Erling Haaland snub, considers Milik to be a worthy addition. The 25-year-old is rated around £60m.
Milik has scored seven goals in 9 matches in Serie A this season despite getting sidelined for a handful of matches owing to a muscle injury.
However, the former Ajax star was decisive in Napoli's second-place finish in Serie A last season, scoring 17 goals in the process.
In the wake of the defeat against Manchester City in the Carabao Cup, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted that new faces are needed to bolster the squad.
The Red Devils are currently fifth in the Premier League table and will face Norwich City in their next fixture.
