Chelsea to break transfer record for Bundesliga sensation?
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich will reportedly give the green light for his club to make a club-record bid for Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.
The Blues have been quiet in the transfer window this month despite them being able to make new signings after their FIFA-imposed ban was overturned.
According to Sport, the west London side are likely to land a creative player before the transfer deadline and they have their sights set on signing Sancho from the ranks of Dortmund.
The same outlet claims that Abramovich has given the go-ahead for the move and the club could be prepared to spend around £102m to lure the Englishman from the Bundesliga side.
Dortmund have previously indicated that they won't part ways with Sancho until the summer but there have been reports stating that the arrival of Erling Haaland from Red Bull Salzburg may change their stance.
Haaland made his debut during the recent league clash against Augsburg and he made an instant impact with a hat-trick coming off the bench to seal a 5-3 comeback win for Dortmund.
