Kalidou Koulibaly rejects Manchester United move
Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly has reportedly decided against a mid-season move to Manchester United and will thereby remain with the Serie A outfit for the rest of the campaign.
The Senegalese has been heavily linked with the Red Devils over the past 18 months and reports in Italy recently claimed that the club are eager to secure his signature.
However, according to The Sun, a January move appears highly unlikely, given the defender is committed to Napoli, who wish to keep hold of his services for the backend of the current season.
Koulibaly has been valued at around £100m by the Italian giants but the price tag could reduce slightly in the summer with the club expected to welcome transfer offers for the 28-year-old.
Manchester United have agreed on a deal to sign Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon this month. The Portuguese has already undergone a medical and he has been tipped to make his debut against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
