Manchester United make transfer decision on Jude Bellingham
Manchester United are prepared to wait until the summer before lodging an attempt to sign highly-rated midfielder Jude Bellingham from Birmingham City.
The Red Devils have held a keen interest in the 16-year-old midfielder and reports had claimed earlier this month that they could land his services before loaning him out to the Blues for the season.
However, according to Evening Standard, that does not appear the case and the club are willing to wait until the summer transfer window before making an approach for the teenager.
United are likely to propose a £20m package for the versatile midfielder and that would include an initial £8.5m when he makes the switch to Old Trafford in the summer.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are expected to face direct competition from Borussia Dortmund, who believe the teenager could develop in a similar way to Jadon Sancho.
Bellingham has made 25 league appearances in his breakthrough season at St Andrew's. He has played in every position in the midfield and attack and that includes a couple of games in the centre-forward role.
