Mikel Arteta wants three signings before Euro 2020?
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wants to strengthen his squad with at least three signings before the start of Euro 2020 in the summer.
The Gunners landed the services of Pablo Mari and Cedric Soares on loan last month and they can land the duo on permanent deals in four months' time.
Still, Arteta is keen on bolstering the squad further and The Mail claims that the Spaniard is determined to land three permanent signings before Euro 2020 begins.
It is added that Arteta wants a new central defender, box-to-box midfielder and a creative central midfielder and Feyenoord's Orkan Kokcu has been earmarked as one of the prime targets.
Arsenal have been keeping tabs on Kokcu over the past year and they are keen to land his signature before Euro 2020, given the midfielder could enhance his reputation with a strong tournament.
Kokcu has yet to represent the Turkey national team but he is expected to be included in the squad in the lead up to the European Championships. He has represented the Under-21 side on a couple of occasions.
