Predicted Manchester United lineup (4-2-3-1) to face Chelsea, Fernandes and Martial start
Manchester United will make the trip to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea in Monday's Premier League clash. The Red Devils are winless for three league games on the bounce but they will be hoping to end the run and enhance their Champions League prospects.
Predicted Lineup:
David de Gea has been ever-present in goal for the Premier League duties and he will definitely start between the sticks. He has been impressive in recent games and has picked up back-to-back clean sheets.
Solskjaer may go with the same backline from the 0-0 draw against Wolves. Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw should make up the four-man defence.
In the centre of the park, a single change is expected. Andreas Pereira should drop to the bench to be replaced by Nemanja Matic, who missed the previous game through suspension. He should partner Fred.
Elsewhere, there could be a solitary change in the attack with Mason Greenwood taking up Juan Mata's place. Daniel James and Bruno Fernandes will definitely retain their spots while Anthony Martial should start upfront.
Odion Ighalo is expected to travel with the team for the Premier League clash but manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has refused to confirm whether the Nigerian will even make the bench.
Predicted Manchester United XI (4-2-3-1): David de Gea, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw, Fred, Nemanja Matic, Mason Greenwood, Bruno Fernandes, Daniel James, Anthony Martial.
