Liverpool leading the race to sign 21-year-old attacker
Liverpool are reportedly leading the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City in the race to sign Norwich City attacker Todd Cantwell this summer.
The 21-year-old has impressed in the Canaries' return to the Premier League this season and so far, he has contributed six goals and two assists from 26 appearances.
Still, the Canaries face the prospect of relegation as they are seven points adrift of safety and reports claim that Cantwell will be sold regardless of their league status next season.
According to The Athletic, manager Jurgen Klopp has been impressed with the displays of Cantwell and he had a good look at the youngster during the Reds' 1-0 win at Carrow Road last weekend.
The Reds face competition from the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City but they are said to be favourites to sign him with a transfer approach planned prior to the end of the season.
Cantwell, who is contracted to the Canaries until the summer of 2023, has already represented England at the Under-21 level. Daniel Farke's side are expected to demand around £30m for his sale this summer.
