Leicester City make contact with agent of Liverpool star
Leicester City have reportedly contacted the representatives of Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana regarding a possible free transfer at the end of the season.
The England international's contract with the Reds expires in the summer and it is quite clear that he will pursue a fresh challenge in the quest for regular gametime.
According to Sky Sports News, a number of clubs are vying for the midfielder's services but the Foxes are leading the race after making the initial contact with the player's agent.
Lallana can of course sign a pre-contract with an overseas club at any point of time but the Reds must give him permission to negotiate a deal with a fellow Premier League side before the season concludes.
Lallana, who has been a regular substitute during the current campaign, has contributed one goal and two assists in all competitions. Aside from the Foxes, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are also in the running to sign him.
