Marcelo Brozovic to remain with Inter amidst Liverpool and Real Madrid interest
Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is likely to remain in the summer amid the interest from the Premier League and La Liga.
The Croatian has been recently linked with the likes of European giants Liverpool and Real Madrid.
According to Calcio Mercato, Brozovic has managed to persuade Inter boss Antonio Conte to keep him at the club due to his impressive displays– 3 goals and 4 assists in Serie A this season.
The report also adds that the 27-year-old could be awarded a contract extension at San Siro given his importance to the side.
Brozovic has been a key cog in the Nerazzurri midfield over the course, playing more than 150 games.
It was previously reported that Zinedine Zidane is eyeing a move for the Croatian to provide strong cover for the Brazilian star Casmeiro.
Inter managed to sign the Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen in the winter exchange, and he went on to score in the Europa League game against Ludogorets.
Conte’s side are currently trailing Lazio in the Serie A table after suffering two draws and a defeat in their last six games.
