Manchester United planning bid to sign Jack Grealish?
Manchester United are reportedly prepared to step up their pursuit of Jack Grealish from Aston Villa ahead of the summer transfer window.
Grealish has recently stated that he has been flattered by the interest from United but stressed that he is focused on the relegation battle with Villa at the moment.
Still, he has been widely touted to pursue a fresh challenge in the summer and The Manchester Evening News claims that the Red Devils are planning to make contact with the west Midlands outfit for his services prior to the end of the season.
Grealish, who has bagged seven goals and six assists in the Premier League, is likely to be handed with his maiden England call-up after his consistent displays in recent months.
Villa have no plans to offload Grealish at the moment but they could be forced into doing so by the summer, considering they need to balance their books to meet the Financial Fair Play requirements.
Villa have spent in excess of £140m on new signings since their promotion to the top-flight. They could be hampered financially, suppose they fail to beat the drop.
