Manchester City midfielder Kevin de Bruyne has reportedly ruled out his departure from the Etihad this summer.

The Belgian talisman has been heavily linked with a summer move after City have been handed a two-year ban in European games. Real Madrid turn out to be his only suitors.

According to Goal.com, the 28-year-old has put aside his exit plans instead wants to continue his journey with the Sky Blues.

Earlier, Pep Guardiola also clarified De Bruyne’s exit links, stating that Los Blancos should get his nod before they try to sign the Belgian.

De Bruyne has been exemplary for Cityzens, let alone this season - racking up 9 goals and 20 assists.

He carried his form to the last night’s UCL knockout tie as well, inspiring Cityzens to a 2-1 win against Real Madrid at Bernabeu. De Bruyne was eventually awarded the man of the match for his involvement in both the goals.

Guardiola's side could have lost their way in the Premier League this season, but they remain resolute in the UCL campaign.
